Background
Tritone lived all his life underwater with a wife and daughter. Unfortunately, tragic events took them from him, leaving him devastated and utterly alone.
After a considerable amount of time in mourning, Tritone met Princess Neptune of Wu Xing, who had been swept away by the sea and left in unfamiliar waters. He tended to the princess and nursed her back to health. During that time, love blossomed between the two and Tritone accompanied Neptune back to Wu Xing as her consort.
Eventually, Tritone fathered with Neptune a son, Prince Hydro Lance. While very caring and concerned for his son, Tritone has always felt a distance between them largely due to Hydro Lance inheriting nearly everything from his mother, including her cold and strict demeanor. However, he was delighted to discover that his son shared his interest and aptitude for music and father and son were able to bond deeply.
