|Position|| Carrier pilot|
Circus knife-thrower (formerly)
|Weapon||Throwing knives, NightCrawler crossbow|
Little is known by the Jaegers about Krane's history. The only thing his teammates can confirm is that he used to be a knife thrower in the circus at Terra Neon. At some point, Krane must have acquired his piloting, engineering, medical and cooking skills.
When he was in the circus, he and his best friend, Rail, were recruited into the NightCrawlers training program, which was considered a high honor among Cyclonians as few ever qualify. As they trained, Krane eventually became the leader of the NightCrawlers. However, with each mission, he began to realize what being a NightCrawler was turning him into and he did not like it. He tried to convince Rail to leave the order with him, but Rail, seduced by power and glory, swore his loyalty to the NightCrawlers and tried to kill Krane, though the latter escaped. Since then, Krane has tried to run from his past as a NightCrawler, hiding this part of his life from everyone.
Krane appeared to have been traveling on his own before joining up with Lily Ray, who had been on a journey of self-discovery after dropping out of the Sky Knight Academy.
Krane returned with Lily Ray to Atmosia so she could visit her friend for her graduation from the Academy. When Osprey decided to form a squadron, Lily Ray recommended Krane as their carrier pilot, to which he silently agreed.
Krane serves loyally as the Blackburn Jaeger's helmsman of their ship the Magnificent Frigate. Though he still never speaks, he is loyal to his teammates and flawlessly maintains the ship's upkeep as well as that of the team's skimmers. Osprey is the only one who knows of Krane's past as a NightCrawler, due to the latter's insistence that there be no secrets between them to ensure faith and loyalty. Although, Krane still keeps his old armor in his room and hides his NightCrawler Skimmer in a secret compartment on the Frigate.
